Who we are – Introducing ourselves …

Jamie and Sheri Blackett are the current custodians of Arbigland and they live at The House on the Shore with, on occasions, their grown up children, Oliver, an entrepreneur and founder of John Paul Jones Rum, and Rosie, a PR agent.

Jamie is the sixth generation of his family to farm at Arbigland. He is a former Army officer and a writer. He has written three books, The Enigma of Kidson (2017) , Red Rag to a Bull (2018) and Land of Milk and Honey (2022). He is also a freelance columnist writing mainly for the Daily Telegraph and Country Life. 

Sheri is a photographer, taking her inspiration from the stunning landscapes and seascapes around Arbigland.
