The Cottage is surrounded by cornfields and situated 5 minute walk from a fabulous beach. It is quiet and secluded with idyllic views of the sea, Southerness Lighthouse and the Lake District Mountains to the front and Criffel, Galloway’s finest mountain behind.
This magical area has been the inspiration for many artists so come and be inspired or just come to collapse, relax and enjoy!

Features of Arthurs Cottage
The cottage accommodates six comfortably with one (king size) double with bathroom incl wc ensuite upstairs and one twin bedroom with bathroom incl wc ensuite and one (king size) double bedroom with shower room incl wc ensuite downstairs.
There is a large open plan living area with a coal effect electric fire and door leading out through a conservatory porch to the garden where you can enjoy a BBQ watching the sun set behind Criffel. As you would expect it has every mod con and includes bed linen, oil central heating (7 hours ), electricity etc.
The cottage is semi-detached but you would not know it when you are in the cottage or the garden; the walls are very thick! The other end is also our holiday cottage. Both cottages can be rented (known as Beachcombers’) with the adjoining door open to make comfortable accommodation for twelve.
