Water Sports in South West Scotland
You are never far from water in Galloway and particularly at Arbigland with the Solway Firth on 3 sides and hundreds of lochs inland. Sail from Carsethorn, Kippford or Kirkcudbright or go 40 minutes inland to Loch Ken where there is both a sailing centre and a water skiing centre.
If you are planning holidays for teenagers there are at 3 really good activity centres nearby that cater for clay pigeon shooting, quad biking, zip wiring etc.
