This large holiday cottage is surrounded by cornfields and situated 5 minute walk from a fabulous beach. It is quiet and secluded with idyllic views of the sea, Southerness Lighthouse and the Lake District Mountains to the front and Criffel, Galloway’s finest mountain behind.
This magical area has been the inspiration for many artists so come and be inspired or just come to collapse, relax and enjoy!

Features of Arthurs Cottage
This large holiday cottage accommodates twelve comfortably with one (king size) double with bathroom incl wc ensuite upstairs and one twin bedroom with bathroom incl wc ensuite and two double bedrooms (king size, one standard) with shower/bathrooms incl wc ensuite downstairs. There is a further one (king size) double bedroom and one twin bedroom upstairs which share a downstairs house shower room and wc.
There are two large open plan living areas, one with log burning stove, one with a coal effect electric fire and door leading out through a conservatory porch to the garden where you can enjoy a BBQ watching the sun set behind Criffel. One is configured as a dining room with a large dining table that seats twelve. The other is configured as sitting room with a small card table in one corner.
As you would expect it has every mod con and includes bed linen, oil central heating (7 hours), electricity etc.
