Carse Bay Holiday Chalets in South West Scotland

There are many places to stay in Dumfries and Galloway but not many holiday chalets can boast that they are right on the sea shore, ok 20 yards away then! Our Lodges also have spectacular views over the Solway Firth to the hills beyond and across fields to Galloway's most beautiful mountain, Criffel.

Our luxury log chalets sleep 4 people in great comfort and provide the perfect self catering family holiday accommodation for a relaxing time exploring the beautiful countryside of Dumfries & Galloway.

Built with 21st century comfort and a real log burning stove.

Unlike many other log chalets along the Colvend Coast ours are built to high specifications.

They are  well insulated so that they are warm in winter and not too hot in summer [see full features].

"The Steamboat" pub in Carsethorn is a 5 minute walk along the beach.

The Colvend Coast is the ideal base for mountain biking (minutes from two of the 7 Stanes) Birdwatching (Mersehead 15 mins away) Golf (Southerness Championship Golf Course 10mins away) or collapsing and revelling in the amazing surroundings.   The chalets are also close to the equestrian establishment of South Carse. You can bring your horse with you and keep him in the livery yard there so that you can enjoy riding on the beach and around the bridleways on the estate.

If it's rows of identical cabins, discotheques and amusement arcades you want then look elsewhere! If you want to wake up to the sound of waves and seabirds and watch kestrels hover above cattle grazing in green meadows from your windows then this is the place for you.
