Wild beaches on the coast of ScotlandWith the Nith Estuary at one end of the estate and the open Solway at the other we can cater for all tastes from oozy mud to golden sand flats with shingle, rock pools, fossil beds, cliffs and caves in between! Powillimount beach at the southern end of the estate is popular with families and renowned for the huge limestone arch known as the Thirlstane.

Our coastal self catering holiday cottages and chalets are all genuinely within sight and sound of the sea.

Walk down onto the shore or drive along the Colvend coast, or "Scottish Riviera", to visit Southerness, Sandyhills, Rockcliffe or  Kippford; all within a 15 minute drive.
